vran. 13 Posted February 18, 2015 Hi, I converted a config.bin file into a config.cpp file with binview and I get the 'pistol bug' which makes movement impossible with side arms. Is there a sollution to this problem? I don't get the error if I'm using some 3rd party configs, only if I make my own. I'm running 1.99 version (1.96 not installed currently). Thanks in advance. RozekPoland 591 Posted February 18, 2015 Try to convert config.bin to config.cpp with Eliteness.

ProfTournesol 956 Posted February 18, 2015 You might want to post your config here, so that someone can look into it.
vran. 13 Posted February 18, 2015 https://www.sendspace.com/file/2fbqb4 One is config.bin converted to config.cpp with Eliteness (not edited, no pistol bug, hard to edit), other one is converted with BinView (not edited, pistol bug, easy editing).
ProfTournesol 956 Posted February 19, 2015 Well, what Faguss said is : Faguss said: Binview will lose enums. Use eliteness. That's probably the cause of your pistol bug. I'm using a config coming from BinView for my mods, and i don't have that pistol bug, so i'm clueless here. You may want to ask Faguss how to correct that. Lenyoga 326 Posted February 19, 2015 I've had the same issue. I simply re-binarized the file after editing and it worked fine.

Macser 776 Posted March 5, 2015 You can keep your Config in cpp format until you're ready.Have a look here. This worked for me when some animation issues cropped up. :)
