Can Arma 3 be played like Combat Mission?

I'm intrigued by CM:BS but not enough to hazard its full pricetag (no demo yet), what is the closest equivalent that A3 has to offer, via mods probably?

I've never used this and I'm not sure if its what your wanting. But have a look at Warfare Benny mod.

Working pretty good, especially the Zerty edits.

I'm usually not advertising servers or similar, but if you want to check BECTI out you are missing out on some good action on the JAMMY WARFARE server.

Been playing there some time ago, excellent performance, excellent players and on prime time always some admin on.

Curious if Benny will ever return and continue on BECTI himself.
