samrmur 10 Posted February 6, 2015 Handing over the C-17 Globemaster lll (v1.6) ArmA 2 Project INTRODUCTION I will begin by saying this. I DID NOT MAKE THIS MOD. ALL CREDITS GO TO THE ORIGINAL CREATOR MUKCEP After long consideration and finally getting the chance to do this, I wanted to officially retire from being the current holder of C-17 project for ArmA 2. About 6 months ago, I lost interest in both playing ArmA and working on this project for the game and wanted to hand it over to someone who would make better use of it. Currently this project is being updated for ArmA 3 by other members of the community, but I would like to still see it in this game. I hope that, unlike me, this person will continue this project until its completion. If you are interested, post on this thread with previous or current projects that have worked or are working on. I am doing this so that I know that the person can be trusted with it. Below is information about the project currently. hcpookie 3770 Posted February 8, 2015 I'd love to look at it but my plate is full. A few thoughts on the problems listed that may help anyone considering this: - Pilot controls Second Pilot movement. This happens if the 2nd pilot "turret" is not defined, or has no weapons. Some use a dummy weapon, or you can give them a laser to use. I dummy weapon I've found that is easy to utilize is a dummy horn, with no sound attached. Simple, uncomplicated, and lets the 2nd "turret" work w/o the head movement issues. - You can walk right through the C-17. Since it is so big, I will guess it might need smaller chunks for the Geo lod. Barring that, make sure the Geo lod rules are followed... must be concave, must be closed, all parts should be defined as components. - First person in the back does not sit properly.
