Victim9l3 11 Posted December 12, 2014 I must be missing something somewhere cause I don't even see questions about it. But how do I get my work on to the steam workshop. I seem to keep going in circles.
Greenfist 1863 Posted December 12, 2014 There's a Steam button in the editor. Just click it and follow instructions. I don't know how you submit mods though.
Von Quest 1163 Posted December 12, 2014 Was a big complaint of mine too! I was going in circles myself for two days. Ugh. There are NO instructions I could find either. Derp. BIS & Steam dropped the ball on that. If you are doing missions, there is a Steam Button in the Editor. Also you can use the Steam ArmA Tools. Separate download. You can use the Publisher in the Tools. As far as Mods goes, it appears it only supports 1 pbo file. So complex mods are not supported unless you plan ahead and build it as a single setup. I read somewhere I thought they were working on changing this so you can have multi-pbo mods per project upload. Hopefully that's the case.
Gekon 2 Posted December 12, 2014 Right: for scenarios, you can publish content straight away from the editor (look for the Steam icon). For addons (and soon mods), we assume you have downloaded free Arma 3 tools anyway to create the content. Publisher (a stand-alone application for uploading non-scenario files to workshop) is included in the tools suite.
