Coolinator 10 Posted November 12, 2014 im using two different scripts that have stringtable.xml.. the problem is that i cant put both stringtable.xml in my mission folder, i had to keep replacing each of one of them.. Is stringtable.xml important? can i just decide not to put in my mission folder or are they required to put in the mission, in order for a script to function properly? jshock 513 Posted November 13, 2014 I'm no dialog guy, but I think the stringtable.xml files contain all the translations and such needed for all text shown on the dialogs, I don't know if that includes the "default" language or not, but I'm sure someone (*cough* Iceman) will follow up with a better response :D. giallustio 770 Posted November 13, 2014 AFAIK is just for multilanguage support

dr_strangepete 6 Posted November 13, 2014 (edited) Giallustio is correct, multilingual support - dialogs, scripts, anything. When merging, as long as xml blocks are not broken, the key structures, and key placement are arbitrary For reference: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Stringtable.xml Edited November 13, 2014 by dr_strangepete
