InqWiper 0 Posted September 26, 2002 Forgot to ask: Can you link me to the dialog tutorial you used?
GAMEER_77 0 Posted September 26, 2002 Lol, theres a lot of little details in the mission. Im making another update, a lot of people are having problems with the bomb, so im putting in some help in the form of communication between Sammo and Kyle - four random conversations are going to be used. Ah yes, the Dialog tutorial. Excellent tutorial by bigpoppa! Thank him in money... PEACE
GAMEER_77 0 Posted September 30, 2002 Ok children, listen up! If you've yet to try NPD then you'll be getting it a little easier than the rest; I've added a new feature where Sammo gives you some "advice". It comes in the form of fairly random conversations via the wonders of the radio. So any NPD-virgins be sure to try out this even easier version! GAMEER_77 0 Posted March 13, 2003 Hey, This is an old thread, yes, but i'm just imforming those of you who don't know that NPD2 is in development by myself and LCD (Superb scripter). We haven't set a release date, as we are not that far in, but it's more a matter of months than weeks. Go to the NPD2 webpage for information. www.npd2.tk Queries to gameer@npd2.tk Thanks P.S. This thread's still in the old forum, so don't blame me for that. Gameer

Sign me up.<span id='postcolor'> Oh crap! Sadly, that project was scrapped ages ago. Sorry about the mis-understanding. However...Are you good at scripting? More specifically, making, for example, an NPD2 job entirely through scripting. That means, using createunit to create every unit necessary in the job. If you are, then I need all the help I can get - LCD's taking a bit of a breather for just now (Hopefully) which means he's not been doing much towards NPD2. This goes for everyone else - If you are very good at scripting, and feel you can help, then give me a buzz. So Winters, are you good with .sqs? Sorry for mix-up. Winters 1 Posted March 13, 2003 I have used createunit before but never to make every single unit on the map. I use the Advanced mission editor, but i could adapt and work differently. Have you tried any of the maps i have made? i may not be an "expert" scripter but i do have an eye and a knack for making Entertaining & Humerous missions or Challenging and realistic ones. a quick list. Single Player: Silent Night, Deadly Night. Return of Guba - mainly just a humerous (austin powers meets james bond) mission Multi-Player: Hill 420 (soon to be an expanded on SP map) EZ Ryders (a biker mission i made when res. was first released) Chill 'em All (my first mission *sniff *tear) anyway they are all available at www.flashpointarena.com so take a look and let me know what you think. BTW: AvonLady gives Silent Night, Dedaly Night 3 stars. Thanks Again Avon
GAMEER_77 0 Posted March 13, 2003 Well, i'd be interested in seeing what you can do with createunit. If your interested in making jobs for NPD2 (There are plenty of them), then try working up a quick job. It doesn't have to be anything special, or NPD related. Just show us what you can do. And i'm trying to download silent night, deadly night but filefront doesn't allow use of Download Managers. Damn them I'll get it done though, and try it tommorrow.
