grahald 11 Posted October 29, 2014 I can not join a friend on a part coop. Steam told me: "the server is not responding." Its server does not appear in the server list. We have all tested, disabled firewall, ports 3203 and 3202 open, nothing happens. We just spent 3 hours at tried to solve the problem .... Bohemia seriously, correct the problem and quickly thank you. It's still crazy!
das attorney 858 Posted October 29, 2014 I thought the default ports were 2302 & 2303, not 3202 & 3203. Also 2305 needs to be open afaik. Are you on static ip or dynamic?
grahald 11 Posted October 29, 2014 I dont know :( . The port 2302 and 2303 are opens ^^ .
mamasan8 11 Posted October 29, 2014 This is a workaround but have you tried via Tunngle? Your buddy hosts the game, passwords it and you join it. Very little hassle.
grahald 11 Posted October 29, 2014 It is not logical ... Why should I install another program that steam to play a Arma 3 with a friend? Bohemia can not fix a simple problem? The coop player works on all games except Arma 3 ... It's still really weird ...

SavageCDN 231 Posted October 30, 2014 I believe you need to open the Steam port as well From this thread: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?147537-Tutorial-How-to-run-ArmA3-on-a-dedicated-server Default ports are all UDP and as follows 2302 (Arma3 Game port & VON) 2303 (Steam query port) 2305 (Steam Port) You can use this link to see if your server is reporting properly to Steam http://api.steampowered.com/ISteamApps/GetServersAtAddress/v0001?addr=12.34.56.78 Just replace 12.34.56.78 with your server's IP address.

Nick Andersen 0 Posted July 22, 2017 I still have this problem. I did port forwarding on both firewall and router. Nothing seems to work. I have done coop missions before, but now it seems to be impossible for me:/ My router is a asus RT-AC68U. dunno if that does any difference.
