Chill 0 Posted September 17, 2002 Here in Australia we are governed by the USA. If the USA says jump we ask " how high". I really fear the day when USA is toppled over and Australia is on its own, we will be punished for the actions of the US.

Col. Kurtz 0 Posted September 17, 2002 </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote (Chill @ Sep. 17 2002,10:15)</td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Here in Australia we are governed by the USA. If the USA says jump we ask " how high". I really fear the day when USA is toppled over and Australia is on its own, we will be punished for the actions of the US. <span id='postcolor'> I will further explain the situation over here. I hate the goverment sooo much I almost want to go back to New Zealand, but things are not too much rosy over there. In Australia we are ruled by the Liberal party which actualy means Racist, G. Bush loving, Money making, poor hating party. They work for the rich and spit on the poor. Since Im not a millionare and dont own some huge company, I dont like them. They were the ones to bring in GST(Goverment Sales Tax) saying that it would not affect prices very much which is a LIE. Many poorer families struggle becuase prices have gone up by a considerable margin. The racist part comes from their treatment of refugees. To be allowed into the country as a 'geniune' refugee, you have to apply. After applying, you have to wait months to learn if you are to be allowed into the country. Obviously the Government does not have a grasp of the idea that people have to flee oppresive regimes or may be marked for death and need to leave quickly. If you go the boat people way and take a boat over here after paying huge prices to a people smuggler, you are then called a queue jumper and thrown into a detintion camp. They throw everyone into the camps, men, women and children. They are treated as if they have comited a huge crime and are kept under oppresive rule and treated as prisoners. They wait months even years in these conditions to wait and see if they will be given visas. Most do not and are sent back to the countries they fled from. The Prime Minister of the country is called Howard, Immigration minister is Ruddock, and fianance minister if Costello. There names make up 'Hitler' Rascist' and 'Capatalist'. Unfortunetly the rich fat red neck Australians have no rpoblem with this. Oh yea, as Chill said, Howard is in bed with the current America regime and goes along with everythign they want. If it comes to an invasion of Iraq, Australia will be there to help. I am a left goverment supporter, but not extreme left. I am only left becuase what I have seen of the right is basically what I explained up there. I believe in a goverment were all are treated equal and those with money are not looked after more. Unfortently there is basically nil parties that are there that actualy want to help the country:they want to help their bank account.

dayglow 2 Posted September 17, 2002 Waren, you're from BC? I grew up in Abbotsford, but moved here to Calgary for school. No point going home, the job market sucks. I'm trying to get on the police force here and I"m also going to apply back home, but at least here they pay to train you, not the other way around bn880 Cretien is a very shrewed politicion, but he lacks total charactor. He's aragant and doesn't speak for me. Ops, his party misplaced over a billion dollars and under crimal investigation for giving it to it's supporters. That is wrong. He decided to go skiing instead of going to the King of Jordan's funeral. He didn't have time to go to ground zero for Bushe's speech. He insults the victims of a sensless crime by saying that the USA asked for it. Kryto is a failure. Did you know that if Canada stopped every car, plane, truck, train and boat it still won't meet the agreed level. We are responsible for less than 3% of the world's carbon monixide levels and the 2 largest polluters (China and Russia) don't have to follow the guildlines. It's just crazy. He said and was recorded and played back for him that he would get rid of the GST, then said he didn't say it. Claims to talk to homeless people and they say they like their life. For pure political reasons axed the replacement helicopters when he got in office and now our service people are dying in the Sea Kings that should have been retired 10 years ago. Strange how he never flys in them, but helicopters supplied by the USA. Need I go on? COLINMAN

Espectro (DayZ) 0 Posted September 17, 2002 So Denoir, what happend to those Swedish politicians that were... well... extreme right personally but not not in the public? I saw some hidden cam back here in Denmark where a swedish journalist asked a guy various questions... omg what a laugh
Longinius 1 Posted September 17, 2002 Most of them resigned, either by their own free will or by encouragement from the party leadership. If you ask me though, its all a load of bull. You can get a politician to say anything if he thinks he will get your vote and no one can hold it against him. I mean, a journalist goes in pretending to be a voter, carrying a concealed camera, and basically says "I am thinking about voting for you but I don't like immigrants. What is your standpoint?". Naturally the politician in question is gonna gun for the vote any way possible. I also find it very interesting, considering the people behind the whole program, that mostly M people were targeted and hung out to dry. I am fairly sure there is just as many closet nazis in the socialist parties as in the moderate ones. Bah, its farked. Some of the responses were pretty out there though, I have to say that. Not very smart politicians at all (which should be grounds enough to boot them out). The journalist asks "What kind of immigrants are the biggest problem here?" the politician answers "Well, its the ones Pinochet never got around to finish. You know, latin americans and such...". Uhm, OK :/
Espectro (DayZ) 0 Posted September 17, 2002 Yea or this comment: "The muslims are those who are doing worst here... they dont do anything else than having alot of kids and taking money from the state". Lol, that you wont even hear in Denmark
168GRN HPBT 0 Posted September 17, 2002 Here in Australia we have liberal Prime minister, John Howard (looks like garden gnome) under his government funding to Universities/schools and so on, has been lowered every year, and getting lower (NOTE: my mother runs a soup kitchen out of a class room at her high school, something she has never seen in 30years of teaching), under his GST every thing went up by around 15% across the board, I am out an extra $30 a week on average (so much for a 10%gst), he has also introduced gun laws that have had no effect on our crime rate (it has actually gone up). Also under this government the average Australian wage is now $380 a week around $190 US, it was $450 under the last government. If he has his way I will be working for $0.2 an hour so we can keep up with the 3rd word countries. In short he sux
Albert Schweitzer 10 Posted September 17, 2002 I got a cool job offer from Asia so on upcoming sunday I can vote whatever I want. It wont affect me! Yeah well maybe it will affect my parents, my friends and of course our reputation abroad. But if the bad candidate is elected then consequently 40% of the Germans must be morons so the reputation would be justified. So now I can choose between German Car-driver party Party of christians loyal to the bible Germany beer-consumer union Party of the NOT-voters REPUBPLICANS (founded by a former SS officer) Schill Partly ( the head of the party is a judge who wants to stricten punishments by 50000%!
