I talked to the guys at GameStop just down the street from me (they are always great about calling me when a title I want is coming in) and they said it is highly doubtful you will find Resistance *anywhere* before the 9th. So instead of playing Chinese fire drill with all the software outlets for the next 4 days, sit back, relax, drink a nice cold beer, kiss your wife, pet the dog and contemplate the meaning the universe... They usually do that with most new games. First week it's full price, second week they put it on sale for 5-10 bucks cheaper, then the price goes back up from the third week on. Naughty Sauce 0 Posted July 6, 2002 Well, I'll have to disagree with you there. I'm about 15 or 16 missions into the Red Hammer campaign and so far it's been nothing but good times. As far as the difficulty goes it isn't nearly as hard as Cold War Crisis was (so far anyway). That first scud mission in the original campaign was by far the most difficult one for me. So far none of the missions in Red Hammer have even come close to that level of difficulty. I've purchased many new releases from Best Buy in the past. Just keep an eye on their Sunday ad in the paper. That's where they advertise the new releases (usually at 5 to 10 dollars off the list price). The sale is only good for about a week though. After that the prices go back up. This week the only new release they advertise is Warcraft III. It isn't on sale, but you do get a free 10 gift card (in the mail) and a free Warcraft III action figure. You can check out the ad online here. Codemasters are doing their job not much. it's true sometimes they should think a lil' more to big fans and big gamers before their money but... this is BIS' choice not ours... This is their publisher after all. It's a lil' bit disappointing for Codemasters' members "if" they're reading these threads... well if they care of us. Well I'm not telling you what to do... Actually I don't care but if I was a Codemaster's member... I'd be really sad to see our gamers saying things like that! Keep your banner but change "some" words to be more polite. Because if it was released on the 28th I would have gotten it on tuesday and played it for a week.I realy wanna try those littlebirds out! Ive even downloaded them during the wait! The problem is that first release date was 21st, later 28th(which I don't mind much), and after thatn NA release date was 3rd. now, on 3rd, they said NA will get it on 10th. my suspicion is that CM either has logistics problem or can't admit that they are having trouble keeping their words. I don't think it's too much at all, I'm pissed off at them. Hell, some publishers release some games early! But noooo, Codemasters delays it 20321723827 years. Thats due to bad staffing and management team, so I just think that they suck. They are all probably in the US playing resistance right now, come to think of it.
