Can I open stock missions in the editor?

I've searched through all of my disk and found no traces of any ArmA 3 missions. What is their location? Can I edit them or at least take a look into the guts?

This https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Missions is not helpful and most of the wiki is pre-ArmA 3.

I used PBO extractor (explorer?) to poke around the A3 pbos but the file names are not indicative. Is there a file name vs mission reference?

Hi, look in your Arma3 directory in the addons folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\Addons

look at the listed names with missions in them, and upbo them.

I use pbomanager--> http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=16369&highlight=PBO%2BMANAGER,

with that tool you can open a pbo without extracting it, and see whats in it, if you want to extract it

then just right click and it gives you extraction options.

And put the extracted mission files into our Documents/Arma3/Your Arma3 profile name/missions folder and open in the editor. Note you can see what map it is, with the "missionname.altis" so you can find it quicker. I've done the above and used it to add weapon boxes to test weapons on the courses to get a better feel, but again I just kept it in the editor.
