Maurdekye 10 Posted July 22, 2014 I'm new to arma scripting, and I've had consistent trouble with the 'sleep' command. Whenever I put it into my code, it always seems to fail at the line that the sleep occurs, even though I'm fairly sure I wrote it correctly. I tried using this line of code; hint "testtext"; sleep 2; hint " "; But instead of running, it just gave me an error when I tested the mission.
SilentSpike 84 Posted July 22, 2014 It's an old post, but it still applies so check it out: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?170394-using-call-sleep&p=2582510&viewfull=1#post2582510 Look into scheduled and unscheduled environments in sqf. You'll get the hang of it :)
Maurdekye 10 Posted July 22, 2014 What's a good tutorial on how the A3 scripting environment works, and how I should expect it to be used?
