da12thMonkey 1943 Posted July 14, 2014 To be exact, it's covered in the muzzle accessories section of the above link on the wiki, in the second part that begins Starting from patch 1.24 (dev version 1.23 from 23.6. 2014 on), there is a change how sounds are handled because of sound suppressors: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Weapon_Config_Guidelines#Muzzle_accessories For vehicle weapons you only really need a single entry in the array; sounds[] = {StandardSound}; and a class StandardSound definition in your firemodes, since vehicles can't attach suppressors and have no real use for the second entry in the sounds[] array, i.e. the whole class SilencedSound bit in the example on the wiki is only relevant to rifles and stuff. mojeaux 10 Posted July 20, 2014 Well like he said...The sounds are hosed now!...Is there a fix for the regular guy? Or is the only fix for sounds of weapons going to now be a mission makers night mare? Like the "Fix" link showed you will need to fix each weapon....... The nato weapons no longer work...but HAY...on the other hand the enemy cant tell where the hell your shooting from!!!:-(
