Tried to edit a .pbo, data file too short

Hey. I am attempting to edit a Takistan Life .pbo. The first thing I did was edit the messages that pop up on-screen and in global chat, and save and repack it as a .pbo before saving it and relaunching the game. When i click to host the multiplayer game to try it out, my game immediately crashes and gives me the following error: Data file too short 'MPMissions/anarchyinthetk.takistan.pbo' Expected 2055362653 B, got 2930166 B". I'm not quite sure what i'm doing wrong (Although i'm a noob to editing scripts.) Any help or a fix would be GREATLY appreciated.

In the official server it says "Feel free to use this mission."

There's a big difference between 'using' the mission and 'editing' it. I would check with the original author to make sure it is ok to continue.

I just looked through the PBO and the copyright literally says anybody can edit/use it. Go on any server and get the PBO and look in the copyright, now do you have an answer, or are you gonna continue to bust my balls?

Try grabbing mikeros pboproject and packing with that. If there's an error in the code it will spit out a much more readable explanation of the error.

Check all files in your mission directory to see If there is a filename with some characters not recognised by arma (i.e. None english alphabet letters). If so change the filename and try again.

How do you package your mission to pbo?
