Oskah 10 Posted May 13, 2014 Dear Users,:mad::mad: i cant play operation arrowhead online because of a fps lag. In single player the game runs with more than 120fps (in lowest grafik) and in multiplayer ive got about 20-25 fps so for me the game is unplayable. Ive bought the game on steam as combined operations. Ive installed it normal threw steam and after im joining a server the fps drops immediately. Ive installed a new windows but this diddnt solve the problem. (arma 2 works well and fast) Ive tried about 30 drivers from nvidia but with no success. My hard drive runs with 10MB/s when OA is on and my hard drive can run up to 100 MB/s so i cant say its a harddrive probolem. Ive got a six core cpu wich works with 20 % when OA is on in MP. My Internet is 10 MB/s and the servers I join dont have more than 30ms ping. Ive tried everything like setting the game parameters, changing the cfg files and still my gpu works with about 30% in low mode if i put the grafics up to very high then it goes to 100% and it still goes up to only 25 fps when i look on the ground its 30 fps. It never becomes higher. Ive tried the options like disabling PhysX oder force Vsync and everything I found in the forum but theres no solution my pc ist fast enought to play arma OA for sure and i would like to play this game ive paid money for it. I want to play AO if you could help me this would be great.... There is maybe one thing somehow my motherboard cuts my DDR III into VRAM and if i go on dxdiag it says ive got 4gb VRAM but any other Game ive got has about 200 games that run with no problem and with playable fps but i dont think this is it. I really want to play that game and if someone know a solution i would be grateful :( I dont think so but its worth a try... Thanks a lot!!! My PC specs: AMD Phenom II X6 6x3.2 ghz DDR RAM III 8 GB Geforce GT 640 2GB DDR3 Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H
IT07 10 Posted May 13, 2014 Don't think it is your PC ;) Many servers are not meant to run ArmA but they still do. Then everyone playing on it gets really bad fps.
Mirek 166 Posted May 14, 2014 20-25FPS is okay. So whats your problem? Also choose your servers wisely. Also Why the hell dont you use search before make useless new post? http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?85124-ArmA2-OA-(low)-performance-issues Seriously dont tel me you didnt see this one! http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?146378-Low-FPS-in-ARMA-2-8-10-FPS-on-very-low-or-very-high-High-PC-Help-please http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/36688-maximize-frame-rate-on-dayz-and-arma2-low-frames-fix/
IT07 10 Posted May 14, 2014 20-25 fps okay? Man my eyes start acting up with anything under 50......
Mirek 166 Posted May 14, 2014 Strange i have 40-50FPS in singleplayer and 20-25 in some multiplayer servers and i cant tell the difference at all. I start noticing below 19, at 16 its annoing below 15 unplayable. First time i noticed that i have any difference in FPS in single/multiplayer was when i first started to use gamebooster and saw the FPS meter. without it i wouldnt never notice. Oskah 10 Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the repiles! Dear mirek your questions and answers are kinda noobish. im playing since im 6 years old. If for u 20-25 fps is alright then ok. But for me it seems laggy and i normally play with 40+ fps in first person shooters or i will just loose like a little girl. And ive joined about 20 epoch and 20 oa and 20 dayz servers and simply asked the people about their fps and the answers were mostly: 40-60. And if i get 20 fps and the other player get 40 then im in disfavor and i will loose simply. Mirek if you like loosing then keep playing in 20 fps but i dont like it. I dont buy a game with NO ITEM SHOP to be in disfavor!!! Its just not fair! And ,,Why the hell dont you use search'' If you try it by yourself you will see that no one in this formu describes this problem as exact as i do and have the same system and that in the links you postet is just fps fix in MP and SP but for me its only in MP. Im not even sure that u have read my thread but i see u didnt. I dont want to argue. Its better to read a post bevore spamming answers. Sorry Mirek but you made me mad with your answers i am sitting every evening after work for dayz and cant play the game i was so looking forward after my old computer crashed. I EVEN BOUGHT THIS COMPUTER FOR THIS... Maybe someone after me will have the same Problem and find this site on google and get the solution (when I get it) because its really annoing. I used to play epoch on my old computer with 40 (middle settings) fps and the PC was crab!!! There must be a fix!!! I get my own company with fixing computers in germany and I have NEVER had a problem that I didnt fix and i will keep trying until i find out the answer even if i will sit every evening for 2 hours just to keep saing i can fix everything i ive never face a problem i couldnt handle :) Normally I play games with more than 40 fps and if its less than 30 fps you will die for sure!!! Have a nice day and thanks for the replies. Habt einen schönen Tag und danke für die Antworten. Milego dnia i dzieki za odpowiedzi. Mirek 166 Posted May 20, 2014 Dear mirek your questions and answers are kinda noobish. im playing since im 6 years old. Oh boy :-) If you try it by yourself you will see that no one in this formu describes this problem as exact as i do and have the same system and that in the links you postet is just fps fix in MP and SP but for me its only in MP. So in your oppinion should everyone make separate threads for the same problem just because they have different computers, or use different settings? or what? :-D You could easily put your detailed description in allready existing thread in stead of making new one. If everyone did like you, the forum would be burried under mountain of threads regarding the same problems.
IT07 10 Posted May 20, 2014 Oh boy :-)So in your oppinion should everyone make separate threads for the same problem just because they have different computers, or use different settings? or what? :-D There can be problems, but it is not always the same solution. And yes, the best way to get your own problem solved is to ask about your problem. And no, you can not put a detailed description in an existing thread. That is called hijacking a thread. And yes, everyone should post their own problem if none of the other solutions in other threads solved the problem. That is how forums work and how they should work. If a forum is buried under a lot of threads, then the admins did not organise it correctly. The more threads for the same problem can lead to more solutions. Which eventually, will give more people the chance to find a solution. So basically you are doing a good job by posting your own problem instead of not posting because there is already someone else with the same problem. So Mirek, you might want to rethink your helping strategy.

So Mirek, you might want to rethink your helping strategy. Well, i strongly disagree with that. Same problem should be kept in one thread. If people couldnt help in the first thread, making new one wouldnt help, maybe it can atract someone who know the solution and didnt noticed the first thread, but that would work only if the first thread would be old, and posting in the first thread would probably atract theyr attention anyway, as the thread would move up the line. Off course there can be speciall situations where the two problems seems to be similar, but they are not, but thats not the issue here. Also forum rules: §7) Search before postingIf you have a question, please use the forum search function before posting to make sure that it hasn't been answered before. There is a big chance it has, not only does searching help to keep the forum free of multiple threads it will also help you to get an answer much quicker. IT07 10 Posted May 21, 2014 If everyone would do it like you then you will get those 84 pages threads that take ages to search through and where everyone is replying to everyone. A total mess.
