Is it possible to save the hiding resistance guy?

Ok, guy comes, hide me viktor, noooo, hide me viktor, nooooo, hide me viktor, ok, go in that shack.

Russians come. Shoot guy. Tell us where he is or you all die! Mwaha. Being the superhero that I am, I run back, get my Kozlice, and pop them all. A couple seconds later, the guy screams "RUN! They kill us all!" but I'm saying, hey guys, they are dead. Not alive. No need to worry. But they run away crying anyway. So, I get to the shed and see what the guy would say, do I get a reward or something?

But I find he is DEAD. How could he possibly be dead? I killed all the soldiers before they fired a shot and before they were ordered to kill everyone. How can he be dead?

Is there any possible way to keep him alive?

Nope, he bleeds to death. Next time you play that mission, just run to the shed and get his gun.

This mission is great, you can end up killing at least 19 guys if you wait long enough. Including spet Natz, you'll finish up at the resistance camp with a nice little weapons cache.

Dammit!! I still don´t get this "collect as many weapons as you can" thing, although it is a nice part of the game. I ran behind the house, found the shotgun, picked up some ammo, back and died about 10 times until I got to kill them all ¨

WOW what a way to start a campaign!! No nice chat with buds, no no. Only that decision that has to be made. I tried the other option first to see what happened.. (oh I am so ashamed I even thought about it). The way my friends used-to-be looked at me.. lol

Can you hide in bushes in Resistance? It seems like they spot you a lot easier now than in OFP?

I have the game tabbed right now; I barricaded myself in the house, and killed a UAZ squad, the spetz naz(i) team, and the other squad sent for me...I think that's all. Now I how do I take all these dude's weapons, all the bizons, aks, MGs, RPGs, and take them to the next mission with me?

BTW, I'm gonna save and keep trying until I shoot the mi17 down with one RPG. That should be fun.

BTW, I took the truck on a joyride messing around, and I saw a dead NATO soldier lying in the middle of one of the roads. No shitting! There are also plenty more soldiers to kill along the roads, more stuff anyone? Now if I just figured out how to collect it...

If you have a truck, then can't you put the weapons in the back?, i shot the Ruskies and left for the Resistance camp and didn't realise at that point you could place weapons into the back of trucks and some other vehicles, but i do now and may redo the campaign.

ummmmmm no actually. when I got to the resistance camp, I felt really upset and that I had betrayed my fellow islanders, so I told the resistance leader I was really a bad guy and I lied to the russians about the base location.

This is mission is easy... Simply go to the shed and take the Res guy's Ak47, then hose the fucken Russians with Full Auto. You friends will run away because they are pussies. Feel free to shoot them in the back as they run away.

You can ambush the Russian Quick Reaction Force but it is dicey. If you do succeed, gather up the guns, but them in the Ural and high tail out of there. Gather as many RPGs as you can find! You WILL need them.

I shut myself in the house and killed them all. However, I put the weapons in the crate (resistance) and I didn't get them. I will try the truck next time. Do you have to take the truck with you?

Because after many attempts I killed 'em all, and threw all heir kit in the back of the Ural.

The next mission begins.. Soviets attack the Resistance camp.

Guess what gets shot up straight away? Yep thats right. The Ural.

I just played the rat after trying to dash for the shotgun unsuccessfully a few times. I never thought about running into the shed and grabbing that AK-47. Hmmm...

In the following mission I decided to join the resistance.

Has anyone tried to cooperate fully with Guba? What happens if you give them the correct coordinates? Do you get booted to the Red Hammer Campaign?

Do as you will, but the dragunov makes that mission rather easy. I took one of those, and a couple hand grenades, and just got close enough to everyone to suprise them, and i was able to take everyone out before they even had my position.

The silenced weapons compliment my style. The first time, I crawled around to the top of the party, naded and shot everyone, but of course set the alarm off. See, if I had a bizon, the people guarding the tank would be clueless, and I'd kill everyone on the map without a soldier knowing what was going on. BTW, where'd you get the druggy from?

But if you want to definately keep the Bizon, keep it as your primary weapon 'lest the Ural get destroyed.

Can anyone get all the Ural's kit loaded into the Resistance van that comes to pick you up before the commies get you?

I can only get about half of the kit onboard before gunshots start falling around me and I have to go...

Don't worry about the commies, just stay in the house, close the door and pick everyone off through the window. There is parachuting spetnaz, people from a UAZ, another squad from the hill below, and that is it. Below way down the hill, there are two people walking around. One of them has a MG! Take all the weapons. It is awesome.

Yeah!, I went through the rigmarol of collecting every weapon. only to have them all abandoned at the first camp! .

Then I went back and started again cause I wanted the Bizon for the tank mission too!. whats up with the acuracy with the Bizon?. the MP5SD isn't like that for inacuracy!!...

yeah, lol it was so funny, I just tried it. You get taken back to the russian HQ, Guba sings your praises for a second, then he tells you to go and stand by the wall with the other traitors saying that he doesn't trust you.

Lol, I found that so funny. I bet Troska thought he was so good, joining the russians. muhahaha (up until the bit where he is told he will be shot he has a massive grin on his face)
