e00c 10 Posted April 27, 2014 (edited) Apologies if this is in the wrong section, I couldn't find the "editing" forum? How would one go about adding the friendly icons to units to missions? Similar to the wasteland/king of hill mission. Ta muchio :edit: P.S: I'm competent at extracting/repacking pbo files. I'm just no sure where/what needs changing/adding. IT07 10 Posted April 27, 2014 They have to be in your squad and depending on the difficulty setting they can be hidden or not.
e00c 10 Posted April 27, 2014 Sorry, I should have been clearer :-) Versions of wasteland / King of the hill have green square icons above people's heads regardless of being in the same squad or not. It comes in handy when there is lots of people in the same area.
IT07 10 Posted April 27, 2014 Does wasteland work like Altis Life? By that I mean that you do not have to download any mods to play it. If so, the code for those boxes will be in the mission file of every server. Just simply join a wasteland server and check it's mission file by going into: C:\Users\yourusername\appData\Local\ArmA 3\MPMissions Cache\ There you should find the mission file you need ;)
[frl]myke 14 Posted April 27, 2014 Apologies if this is in the wrong section, I couldn't find the "editing" forum? Seriously? next time, spend 30 seconds more to search. Thank you. §8) Post in the right forum & right thread Please ensure you make new threads in the correct forum, if you're unsure of which forum to post in feel free to ask a moderator. If a thread exists for the topic you wish to post about you must use it, for example all ACE questions belong in the ACE thread. All addon/mod questions belong in the thread for that addon/mod. In the case of DayZ discussions they should be posted on the DayZ forums, this includes problems with the Modification. The troubleshooting forum is not for problems with Addons and Mods! e00c 10 Posted April 27, 2014 Thanks IT07 - I'll try this. It is indeed just a mission file, no external downloads required. :) Myke;2676462']Seriously? How about being a bit more polite? Using the Arma 3 Link: http://forums.bistudio.com/forumdisplay.php?112-ARMA-3 Where one would expect to find all details' date=' discussion & topics on or relating to Arma 3. Since, the different mod topics have sub forums in this section too... Surely - It would make sense for the editing sub forum to be here. It's not... lexx 1391 Posted April 27, 2014 I can understand if it's actually pretty hard for new people to find the correct boards around here. The forum is so full with boards already, I'd like to call it a little mess. Even when I joined years ago it was bad, and now we have like 30 boards more. It's especially confusing because the editing boards aren't under the main game category.
