darkxess 60 Posted April 22, 2014 Hey guys, just a quick question that I have regarding the mods - TPWCAS, AISS2, ASR AI3, TPW Mods. Can they all be used together? if not, which is the best one to combine for best results? at the moment I am using all 4 together and though im not sure I sometimes get AI running right by me or even within their sights but not shooting at all. This could be the fact that im using the 4 together which is messing up the AI or something else? Anyway help on this would be great. Thank you :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

My team is using TPWCAS+ASR_AI3 server side for COOP's etc. If you are planning to use at least TPW_MODS+TPWCAS+ASR_AI3 mixed you must be careful: 1) To disable TPW_EBS (in TPW_MODS userconfig) that stands for AI suffering suppressive-fire effects (interfering with TPWCAS which is doing the same with different approach) 2)To decide which LoS feature you want to use..and disable the other TPWCAS userconfig/TPW_MODS userconfig (TPW_LoS feature) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If you see any issue with what your running go ahead and narrow down whats causing the issue and post up there to help others in the future... TPWCAS and TPW_MODS may have a conflict due to similar nested functions(as stated above). ASR_AI3 and TPWCAS work together, those two play very nice together. Definitely recommended AISS is a more advanced group communication mod (ie: higher level comm = command level / not individual unit movement) and should work with anyone of those mods. Again, Highly recommended ! HOWEVER, everyone will have different results due to personal / userconfig settings. And also the size of the mission counts as well.. If you place a ton of units down, And run these mods i can see AI calculation issues. If you want to run a bunch of ai mods you really have to build your missions to match.
