I just noticed, and I actually got it. Even wIth all the doubts I have about the game I would say I can afford to spend a couple of euros.

What I don't understand is why it hasn't been announced. I'm pretty sure it wasn't on the announcements on Steam

I think they sent out an email to their subscribers. I know I seen it announced somewhere, but can't remember where.

I believe the only reason it wasn't announced on Steam was because Steam now allows developers to set their own sales and sale prices.

Well, whatever they are doing I wouldn't be surprised if they missed big part of the public. I really don't think I'm the only one. For me it's pretty normal to follow the announcements on Steam, and I wasn't really planning on buying the game, until I saw the offer.

I took the opportunity to buy myself a second copy, just for the sake of also having it on Steam. I agree they are missing a lot of people, as I only knew about it because I make a point of checking the discussion threads there regularly. I don't believe it's any coincidence that the beta update and model converter tool have been released just as the game is on special offer as it has created some fresh interest from new players.

It's a shame it had such a bad start. Overpriced and very bad AI really done the game no favors. Released, as it is now, at £20 and it probably would have done well.
