Simulate a player with npc in editor

Hello,

As said in title i've got some scripts that work with players but in editor i can't really test them.

The reason is because i managed to add an NPC unit but it isn't considered as a player so whenever i get an MP script supposed to work with players, i can't test it in editor so that i can modify it.

If anyone could help me thanks in advance !

1 - Save your mission as a multiplayer mission (export to multiplayer missions- option is under "Save As" in the editor).

2 - Then set up a dedicated server on your PC (using TADST or similar)

3 - Connect to your DS as a client and test the mission scripts

With my poor knowledge..i dont believe what you asking is a "KaZAAAAAaam!!!.." ..and it works!.

For sure every script must be edited (if this is allowed by original creator) to match the use

on a non-player character.

I don't think the answer is that easy as your question is :)

Damn thought there is an easier way to test this....Cause every time i export the mod i have to relaunch arma 3 server......

There is Nothing easy done with ArmA.

To build something for ArmA (either map or addon or other..) it's a like a patience test

only recommended for certified *Shaolin monks
