If I had one T-90, I would have more fire power than the NZ Army. The NZ army blew up all their Scorpion Scout tanks becuase they didnt want them anymore, we only have outdated anti-tank weapons, and a few Mavericks for our ageing A-4's.<span id='postcolor'>

It isn't very fair to Australia though is it? Didn't NZ withdraw from some of the ANZAC squadrons?

Believe it or not, we still have some A-4 Skyhawk K's flying. I dont know about the ANZAC Sqaudrons. We have 6,000 in the entire armed forces so it would probably round down to something like 4,500 soldiers or something. If conscritption was put in place and full mobolization we could probably turn out about 300,000. I dont think we should even bother with ANZAC for one reason, Australia at the moment is pretty much Americas puppet, and America might not defend us, becuase they pulled out of ANZUS becuase we wouldnt let them sail into our habours with nukes on board without telling us. Ameroca would defend us however if it was seen benifical to them.

But this is going off topic so either start talking about buying tanks and stuff, or CLOSE smile.gif

Col. Kurtz, you guys need to find oil somewhere, or get yourselves invaded by a larger, neighbouring country! That would get the US going! biggrin.gif

Um, thats one side were NZ does not lack on. We are not called a police state for nothing. Wave a knife around and youll get a full squad of Armed Defenders(or is it offenders?) rock up in full body armour and armed with assualt rifles. In the '80's we were notorious. We had a National goverment that was pretty fascist so of course there were plenty of protests. The actions of thr Riot Police in those times will never be forgoten for a long time. They basically gave all the Red Necks a batton and gave them free reign. Its better, but stil not cured. Here is something that happened earlier this year. All information is true becuase I heard this from an eye witness. The Witness had gone to collect a kid that was her Nephew and 15 from a party. There was lots of beer going around and lots of people and the party was starting to spill into the street. Enter a squad of twenty police in full riot gear. The witness left just as the Riot Police were moving to make arrests. When the cops come, they really come. A few years back a couple of people escaped from prison, stole of few guns and went bush. They had the Armed Defenders squad, police choppers with infra-red gear and the SAS all looking for them. They searched what seemed like every inch of the bush for about two weeks before they found them. The Polcie and SAS had been prepared for a showdown, but the prisoners came out without a fight. Not surprising when your dealing with the SAS!
