raspu86 92 Posted December 17, 2013 I'd like to add a rather basic backpack to the game. I did a basic model in blender, imported it into O2 and also got imported it successfully into the game. My problem right now is that the position of the backpack is totally off - it floats beneath the player. See pic. To my understanding I need to set some selections to get it into the right position. But right now I have no idea which selections to set since the sample models do not include a backpack. Could some please point me into the right direction since I'm clueless right now. surpher 1 Posted December 17, 2013 Download Kiory's Alice Pack, the model is unbinarized so you should be able to learn from it.

raspu86 92 Posted December 19, 2013 Ok I still can't get the backpack placed higher than waist line. PIC I had a good look at Kiory's example and STALKERGB's tutorial which are pretty clear. The backpack also follows the characters animations like it is supposed to do, but whatever selections I take in oxygen I can't get the backpack to the position (height) where it is supposed to be. docbrown 1 Posted December 19, 2013 I believe "Spine2" and "Spine3" selections determine the ruck's position on a soldier's back. I could be wrong here, but weight painting the verts for each selection (for each lod as well) to 100% has worked for me recently. If the weight was anything other than 100% then the ruck would sit low, like in your pics. These sections should also be defined in your model.cfg.
