Some questions about Arma 3 lore

Hello forum, I was hoping to get some replies from a Developer (Jay Crowe? I think this is his jurisdiction) on this.

I am writing a campaign that I will likely submit to the make love not Arma contest, however I have some questions about details of the Armaverse in 2035, as I would like my campaign so fit into the Armaverse as smoothly as possible, and not conflict with any official material that will be published later.

1. Is the Jerusalem Ceasefire event still in the Armaverse? Or was that only back in the Greece/Iran scenario. If so, is there a specific date of that event happening?

2. I am currently eyeballing the CSAT member states to be Iran, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, China. However I might have 'Iran' also consist of Annexed Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria, because that would be cool and also semi-feasible given all of those countries are weakened in some way at the moment. I can understand if you don't want to give too much away, but is this possibly going to interfere with any material written or planning to be written in the future? Or perhaps I am misunderstanding what the CSAT is, and should have I included Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and the Ukraine etc and not the middle east.

3. What date/s, was the civil war?

4. What are the coordinates for Altis? They're in the loading screen but I haven't seen them in a while. Somewhere near Malta, I know that much.

5. When did the CSAT joint pacific exercises mentioned in the campaign intro begin? Who were the nations involved? What kicked it up into a full scale conflict?

6. Finally, if it's not too much to ask, when and where was the CSAT treaty signed?

They aren't really based off the islands. They the same islands with a few additions.

Stratis has the same name as it's real life island basically Agios Efstratios.

You certainly have a strange definition of same. Considering it means identical, exact with no changes. And both of those things you say are not like that, as you say so yourself.

I see no point in you correcting him, considering that Kaxii is more correct in saying what he did since "based off of" means the exact same thing as your second sentence there.

I wonder if Takistan signed up to the CSAT treaty? Or Chernarus for that matter.

Would be nice to see some links to the previous stories from A2 and OA included in the campaign background for A3.

1. I suppose it still should be, as this is Armaverse canon.

2. I know for almost sure that CSAT contains Iran (maybe in the form of a BF2-style Middle Eastern Coalition) and maybe China and Russia. I have no idea for the other three countries.

4. CSAT (or Canton-Protocol Strategic Alliance Treaty) was probably signed in Canton, which I think is a Chinese province of which the capital is Guangzhou. I haven't done geography in years so don't quote me on that.

Edit: Wikipedia tells me that Guangzhou is historically known as Canton, so I guess that wraps things up.

I'd like to see some official clarification too, because there isn't too much information on the main site, and there seem to be slight differences with what has been said in interviews, etc.

According the faction overviews, the Ceasefire did happen in 2030. No specific date given though.

3. What date/s, was the civil war?

Again no dates, but the site says the 'Kavala coup' happened in 2026, so presumably 2026-2030.
