bboy 11 Posted April 9, 2014 (edited) Do you have ingame HDR set to normal? Or wrong calibrated colorsettings of monitor or gfx driver? HDR is set to normal.. "Do You use any custom setup or a 3rd party app setting gfx?" What is this? I will put you some screenshots.. http://imageshack.com/a/img401/7505/2civ.jpg (161 kB) It's everything ok with this? Thank you.. ---------- Post added at 05:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:44 PM ---------- Well, i erased all my saved games, and i mean whole Arma 3 directory from My Document and started from begining.. ACPL Jon 68 Posted April 9, 2014 In Steam Library, click RMB on ArmA3, Properties, Local Files, Verify Game-Cache. What is this? Anything that'd set image settings for Your GFX card.
bboy 11 Posted April 18, 2014 It's definitely something bad here... First, i changed gpu, i use now Amd Radeon 6770 1gb ddr5 128bit dx11, played on Dual Core E5300 3.5Ghz (overclocked). Today I changed procesor too, Now i use C2D E7400 2.8Ghz... In both cases, well, i every case since i brought Arma 3, there is too much white colors! http://s25.postimg.org/86ej7n4b3/image.jpg http://s25.postimg.org/8kfv78oen/image.jpg http://s25.postimg.org/523vaunin/image.jpg http://s25.postimg.org/trf0hibnz/image.jpg
ratszo 17 Posted April 20, 2014 (edited) What? Gamma/brightness doesn't work? Different times of day changes intensity. Sun low on the horizon..., glare, long shadows. Those pics look right to me. Too bad the ingame sunglasses don't work. Also, keep in mind low humidity adds to the 'dazzle' effect..., along with the placid Aegean Sea acting as a mirror. Great back-lighting for filming movies --with gamma correction. [adem] Forgot to mention color saturation on the pics..., the way i like it. OP using 'sweetFX'?..., looks it. Desaturate color, thru nvidia CP, will tone the high detail stuff down. Fek, is the OP for real? Edited April 21, 2014 by Ratszo color saturation
Bouben 3 Posted April 22, 2014 (edited) I have the same problem as OP. In my game, gamma setting does nothing too. It does not work at all. Slider moves but thats it. And yes, I have an original version of the game. I also has these "golden-like" houses and NATO soldiers when the sun is low. OPFOR forces are not affected. It is like this since beta version I bought. Setting the HDR to standard helps a bit but the performance impact is unacceptable for my rig. Also, I use no mods.
