Tyl3r99 41 Posted October 28, 2013 arma 3's roadmap is pointless at the moment, ive seen roadmaps with progress bars and %'s and loads of information that's regularly updated. that would benefit arma 3 for certain I think... for example take a look at this roadmap!! http://www.thedeadlinger.com/roadmap now compare it to the lovely arma 3 detailed roadmap :( IMHO - its terrible  is there a reason for this? mistyronin 1181 Posted October 28, 2013 I believe it's difficult to quantify the progress of the game, specially in the case of Arma 3 which has so many different points. BTW any development progress bar would be just an estimation ( in soft development a simple and unexpected error can take hours to be fixed, changing the times ). Said that, I would love if there was more information about the development, although as some dev told me a month ago, they can expend time posting information or working on it. Tyl3r99 41 Posted October 28, 2013 in that case.... remove the roadmap entirely!!
Tyl3r99 41 Posted October 29, 2013 if thats sarcastic = :P if your being serious = go to feedback tracker page and look on the tabs and you will see roadmap haha
Smurf 12 Posted October 29, 2013 It was a fair question. :) But they probably have an internal roadmap that is no public to avoid the "Why doing THAT instead of this" type of comment.
Tyl3r99 41 Posted October 29, 2013 who knows but if they are not going to use the external one then they may as well remove it? i mean... if you went into a shop and it said Sofas on sale and you ask someone where that item is and they say "oh its not out yet" your going to be pretty annoyed. that's the point im trying to get at ha ha i think its pretty clear now... also the change log one, only lists things that are resolved from the FT not the change log entirely
