When shooting at a enemy ,i shot like a never play this game before.

I have play this series for years ,and FPS games is what i like best.

Now i have problems in Arma3, and i'ts bugging me alot.

Got no answer in Bug Report in Steam..

So i wright them all down here.

I have all Bohemia games, and is a great fan of their war game.

In Arma 3 when i shot a enemy, i shoot like a novice and im not.

The enemy shot me dead ,even if i have a silencer on my rifle and is cover in darkness.

Even behind a rock or another cover.

When i shot 55 meters away,i should make a good headshot here.

But no the enemy is a superman.

He brush of his mates brain of his shoes, and jump to the ground fire a round.

Dead again....grrr..

I try once more and my company get good kills, that is strange but good for them.

My soldier hands is shaking, so the gun's site goes crazy.

I wonder if this a soldier know what he's doing?.

This bug me alot, and im alone having this problem?.

My soldiers are not so bright, they dont no what I am tell them.

Saves disappear and more and more..

Will this be the type 13 download patch again as in Arma 2?.

No problems with my PC, so you all know.

All other Arma games work fine and all other games that i play.

My Arma 3 is far from finished, got error message in Arma 3 own mission.

After all patches i see only the game go bad to worse.

Hope someone can help me out.

They are supermen. Next patch should introduce adjustments to AI (devbranch has them), we'll see how that turns out.

Don't use ANY mods, not CBA, nothing. And try connecting again.

Happens when you use Terrain slider High or above. Use Standard/Low.

Rest I have trouble understanding what you mean.

Have you tried to change to a stable position to shoot? Do you keep your breath to shoot? That are the basic things to do as ingame as in RL. BTW the AI is quite good, specially compared to OFP terminators. And this game is not specially difficult, unless you have activated super enemy Ai.

Took me quite a while to like the game but now I'm really a fan. You need a sufficient computer, you need the right settings, right controls, headset, good light in your room and no additional noise. Learn which weapons work best for you and avoid the ones that don't!

Don't give up, there's a lot of fun and excitement somewhere in there!

First off the damage done is relevant to what gun you are using. I personally prefer the MX series but they take some getting used too. when shooting its best to be in the crouched position for best mobility and shooting preformance. Also dont forget to fire in short burst and aim for center mass pulling down on the mouse when firing will also help you keep you sights on the target. also using a silencer is a bad idea it increases recoil and decreases damage. If you have unusually high ping on a server you can have a dely between you hitting the target and it dropping. all 5.56 calibers also are pretty ineffective at all ranges. remember you can check your de-sync by pulling up the map and then selecting players in the tap in the top left and finding your name and clicking on it. it will pull out a menu with you de sync and ping rate along with your bandwidth. also if you are using mods a large amount of the mod guns i have found have bad damage or dont fire where you are shooting also remember to check your zeroing. the rco sight is zeroed to 300m which means anything short of 300 you need to aim below a little to hit it

How many hours i played only that game i can't say, but since then Bohemia got me.

I have play so many senarios and mods.

Arma 2 is my favorit game, thousand of hour in only that Bohemia game.

All DLC on all Bohemia games, and well used.

In Arma 3 im up to fast to 300 hour ,so even if i play other FPS i don't think that make me a novice.

The only thing i have to "learn" is to make a mod, Arma 3 Talvisota The Red Snow.

Do it for my grandfather ,who defend and killed the "attackers" in 6 years.

Play that and make it a habit wound not be wrong....at all..

Give the guy a break, he has trouble expressing himself. Wolf, just take it easy, lower the difficulty, A.I. skills makes quite a difference otherwise you will get headshot easily by the over precise bots.

Dont worry mate, i have the same problems. Iam used to play ARMA 2 CO mostly with ACE, and i dont have any problem hitting enemies there.

In ARMA 3 its a completely different storry. Hitting an enemy in arma 3 seems to be lot more difficult than in arma 2.

Also the factory settings for precisionEnemy are too high. Either set them to 0.2 to 0.3 in your yourname.Armaprofile or set the game to regular or easy and set the options to your liking. Unfortunately this won't help you on servers that use different settings. Make sure you have superAI unchecked. I thought this would only affect allied AI but I read different somewhere.

BIS have tried to make shooting more interesting/challenging by adding the weapon sway and more recoil than ARMA2.

I do like these things in theory but they are too high at the moment.

Part of the problem is that your character gets tired too quickly and this makes sway much worse.

Even just walking makes you character out of breath!!!!

The recoil shoud also reduce with lower stances. (only sniper stance (sitting) and prone reduce it at the moment)

A possibility if you are playing single player is to use Zues AI mod, you can make your own adjustments to the AI, maybe this could help?

This will really help when playing with peoples missions from Steam Workshop as most of the skill's of the AI would be set up by the mission maker.

I have normal as difficulty, that is good for me (now anyway).

I will look in to the armaprofile, and see if enemy is to high in shooting.

I like is so all will be equal to online play, so i understand you there mate.

In real fighting the soldier should do better, they are pro and train for this.

But i hope a patch will come, so we all can play like before.

For none of us is bad at this.

Im not saying changes is bad, but they must be good.

And this is a war simulator, like arma 2.

How can i get thru a war simulator, with cannon fodder Soldier? ;)

How will i hit the targets i want with mortars?.

This is in showcases if i remember right.

I have try to give them like 7 at one target, but all miss.

7 was shooting when i was a Little angry hehe.

I try from map and binoculars, but i hit nothing.

Like the target is under a magic spell..
