novemberist 2 Posted October 8, 2013 Today I've been reading the Gamestar review for Arma 3 and stumbled upon this screenshot(picture 4 in the galery): It shows a colored thermal view (of a UAV) that I have never seen before. For me all UAVs have grey thermal views and I never knew colored thermal view even existed. How can I find it in the game?
roberthammer 582 Posted October 8, 2013 http://i.imgur.com/bGCOO8g.jpg - hmm its from MP , so i think its a script that uses that Ti Mode in the uav - normally you can only get Whiteblack Ti on uav
Ezcoo 47 Posted October 8, 2013 The pic is from scripted UAV in the Invade&Annex multiplayer mission that is created by Ahoy World clan: http://www.ahoyworld.co.uk/topic/726-aw-invade-annex-changelog-and-download/ I'm not sure if it uses the thermal view as a base picture though because the "hot" areas don't match with the thermal view very well (but I might be wrong as well). I think it uses the normal picture as base instead and then applies postprocessing effects that make the picture look like that.
MissionCreep 12 Posted October 8, 2013 How about this? See http://www.geek.com/geek-cetera/color-changing-butterfly-may-hold-the-key-to-cheap-night-vision-1468399/
Termin8rSmurf 10 Posted October 13, 2013 Changing the colouration of the UAV imagery while in game..... Simply activate your UAV.... While viewing the video feed from the UAV, start pressing the Numpad buttons. 1-9. You cycle through the different view types until you find the one you prefer. I find that different displays show different objects, targets, vehiclkes, personnel, etc. Try it and see.
