The environment is therefor a global issue.

This is unacceptable, I am writing a letter to Bush to tell him he has to start taking over the world ASAP.

Actually, better just discuss it with my cat, he seems smarter.<span id='postcolor'>

Than you? biggrin.gif

[slam o matic] I dont know why you argue with me. Arguing with me is like getting a gold medal at the special olympics. You might win, but you are still a 'tard! [/slam o matic]

Seriously DoR, you are the last person to be attempting to espouse your intellectual superiority with sly wit. biggrin.gif

I think you are posting to get a higher post count. Otherwise there is no visible logic behind it.

EDIT: visisivisable... no visible

I'll just say that environmentalism has nothing to do with god, and everything to do with something equally man made, but far more proven as factual: Earth. And its our job it keep it alive, or else its gonna take us with it.

Ex-Ronin, sorry if I ruffled your feathers but when I am insulted by unsubstantiated rhetoric about my president, then I am forced to defend my beliefs. Who did I insult? You?

Where is your documentation? All I hear is that Bush is an idiot. Is it ok to be condescending to me by your insults of my president?

Typical liberal double standard.

I remove myself from your stinking left wing bullshit

sorry Ex-Ronin. That last remark was made in hast and I tried to delete it but sent it instead.

I still will no longer waste either of our times arguing with you guys.

Your picking me out of the crowd and asking me not to offend anyone is way out of line. If this is your way of doing business I am out of here.

Don't bother responding as I am out of here. Later

Excuse me, Gadzoo, but i am a US citizen, and i happen to know that bush is the idiot people say he is. He just recently acknowledged that global warming even exists. This is a fact that was scientifically proven YEARS ago, mind you. The US media wont let him get out more than a half of a sentence on national TV because they even know how much of an idiot he is.

well you need evidence why Bush is dumb?

1. use of word subliminabable

2. a few days after 9-11, he talks about supporting Palestinian state, then recants his remark after Israel protests. still has no balls to work for peace in the region.

3. unable to explain consistently why he sold off his shares.

4. despite his education at one of most prestigious university, makes all the mistakes mentioned above.

5. during his sate of the union speach(this year), talks about universal health care, which was already discussed by Hillary in 92-94, which was scuttled in Republican congress.

CNN:

The White House acknowledged Thursday that President Bush, when he served on the board of Harken Energy more than a decade ago, received more than $180,000 in loans from the company, a practice the president is now condemning in his campaign to stop corporate abuse.

I did denounce it. I de- I denounced it. I denounced interracial dating. I denounced anti-Catholic bigacy... bigotry.

-- Responding to attacks on his visit to ultra-conservative Bob Jones University, Virginia, February 25, 2000

I want to talk about three issues facing America. The first are homeland security.

-- Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Apr. 15, 2002

We've got some challenges that face our economy, there's no question about it. I mean, the first three quarters of my presidency we were in recession. That means the economy was going backwards, it was negative growth. The next three quarters we've had positive growth. But about halfway through that time, the enemy hit us, and it affected our economy.

-- If the enemy hit us halfway through the second set of three quarters since Dubya took office, that would put the terrorist strike sometime around February, 2002. Oh, well. Central Point, Oregon, Aug. 22, 2002

Im not even going to mention subliminable

"I think Africa is a nation that needs world's help in dealing iwth its AIDS crisis"

"All i see is anti- this and anti- that...i think they need to be more positive. pro-this and pro-that"

hey..looks fine with me smile.gif

At least Gadzoo had the sense to leave...... Unlike the unfortunet M_S_Holder who continued to make rascist remarks after it was made clear that it would not be tolerated.

I think the point is, the US's pollution is shared by the world, therefor, If America is really the grerat country it is made out to be, they will be smart enough to relise that they have to clean up their act, or they will find thye wont be in many coalitions for very long.

Well, our government needs to realize that they need to clean up our act, but yeah, i agree.

Ya know, you just gave me an idea...

I think the country should be run by two people, each with a team to back them up and work for them. These two people are completely opposite. One could be a vegan, radical, left wing right brain democrat, while the other could be a carnivorous, reactionary, right wing left brain republican. Their teams would share their views as well.

The reason for them being completely opposite is that they would always have a "devils advocate" to challenge whatever plan they would make for anything. This would keep everything in a constant "checking and ballancing" order.

Every once in a while I feel like making a career out of public service, and then I realise that its just way too ugly for me. I like to work with people who are at or above my level of competency heading towards a clear goal, minus all the bullshit of the melodramatic interpersonal squabbles/vendettas/cliques that other people seem to love so much. And I invariably realise that public service is the last place where I can find that environment.

You seem as though you at least have a clear goal in mind. Thats a step in a good direction smile.gif

I couldnt be any further from a clear goal if I tried hehe. I said thats what I'd like to be doing, the actual execution has yet to come together.

High School is just a big clusterf*ck of hormones induced insanity that gives young adults an excuse to act like the children they recently were. Oh well. At least when I get stressed out over that I can stress about the friggin adults who are supposedly running my school. LOL.

Right now Im just keepin my head down and keepin my options open

They know not what they speak. All they know if what their tree hugging 4th grade teacher and Dan Rather have told them about the "environment."

I for one enjoy my 4 wheel drive SUV towering over all the little people.

At least the US has controls over pollution.....ever been to Mexico? Where the used tire makes a great Yule log.

Come on people, use your own mind, look at the real facts and quit sounding like you just left the Rosie O'Donnel show.

Praise "W" for his superior intelligence and the balls to not sign that riduculous Kyoto treaty. <span id='postcolor'>

Who the fuck are you to say I have to suffer so you can drive your car?

Controls? How big is your country? How many people does it have it it? Take that number and compare it to everyone else on earth.... now consider that you cause at least a 1/4 of the worlds pollution. You attitude sickens me.

If the entire world decided 'fuck it, lets all pollute' then fair enough. But when the rest of the world tries to make a difference, the so called 'Defender of the known universe', is greedily filling itself with natural resources, farting profusely, and wafting it over the rest of the world.

Its not a nice thing to say, but I hope your the first to get skin cancer after we loose too much of the ozone layer. Maybe by then you will have matured.

Fucking little Nazi's are everywhere these days!
