Update 1.02 Animations broken?

Hello,

i've noticed that since the update 1.02 none of the animations i use in cutscenes would work. They're called with switchMove or playMove and definately worked before the patch. Did they changed something in these commands? Is someone experiencing similar quirks?

Correction: some do work but just a small minority. Definately not working in my missions are: "c4coming2cdf_genericstani1", "InBaseMoves_table1", "c4coming2cdf_genericstani4", "Hub_Briefing_Player2" and "InBaseMoves_patrolling1".

A lot of the animations were renamed. So for instance a lot of the hub* animations changed from for example Hub_Briefing_think to HubBriefing_think. You might want to look in the animation viewer and see if some of your chosen animations have been renamed.

Do they still have some of the same from A2 like the classic "Dance".

I'm looking for hands clapping and maybe an arm waving happily.

Dance is in there but doesn't actually do anything. Sorry to disappoint you!

Nope, it wasn't the naming. These animations are still working in BIS' animviewer, however they're not working when i try to use them. Not with switchMove, playMove or playMoveNow. I opened the function in the function viewer but as i see it they basically do the same: call some animation with either switchMove or playMoveNow. I must be missing something.

Ah okay, thanks for that info. I will wait for the official patch then. It's a minor atmospheric problem.

as 1.02 invented a new weapon duping bug through crates/boxes (try to take one with rightclicking it and adding attachments afterwards),too.

Is this fixed in dev branch also?

Funny, i just switched to dev branch but the animation problem is still there. Hope that gets fixed soon.
