USMC Sniper 0 Posted August 20, 2002 I was wondering if anyone can make one of those russian style hats (forgot what they were called) for a soldier. Looks like this guys hat: This would probably be more realistic for a winter soldier than a helmet. Oh, and the AKS-74U would be nice.
Skulleye 0 Posted August 20, 2002 Is that from Hitman 2? It looks like it.
USMC Sniper 0 Posted August 20, 2002 Yes but its an example i forgot what the hat is called.

Espectro (DayZ) 0 Posted August 20, 2002 Speaking of hitman 2, u guys played the demo yet? http://www.dailyrush.dk/files/demos/1011/download/
USMC Sniper 0 Posted August 20, 2002 HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!! I didnt know there was a HM2 Demo!!!!!!! Darn! Of course you would know, HM2 is being produced in denmark and thats where your from!
Major Fubar 0 Posted August 20, 2002 Isn't it out on the X-Pox already?
Espectro (DayZ) 0 Posted August 20, 2002 No, thats number 1. Actually, the official Hitman 2 page havent said anything about it, so i guess its a leaked demo? It includes one mission, there CAN be some graphical glitches but it seams very stable here, no crashes so far. The game is great, and I dont think theres any danger to download the demo, since it is posted and hosted on various official gamesites, such as Dailyrush, which is very legal and trusted. (They have first exclusives by several companies, including IO software), so that might be why it doesnt say anything on the official page.
USMC Sniper 0 Posted August 20, 2002 Yeah, its pretty damn good but the first person mode isnt well polished. The fingers go thru the guns and the pistols look way to small. The only glitch i had is when i used the "giveall" cheat when i had AA on. (BTW, every gun and weapon is available thru this cheat )
Denwad 0 Posted August 20, 2002 How how? Do you just type giveall?
USMC Sniper 0 Posted August 20, 2002 Find Hitman.ini in the Hitman2 folder. Put enableconsole 1 in the bottom. Then, during the game, hit ~ and type giveall. Other cheats: god 1, invisible 1, infammo.
desantnik 0 Posted August 21, 2002 anyway I was wondering if it is possible to put alexandras hat on a regular soldier, it would be much more realistic as the pilotkas were quite comman in the Red Army. just wondering, I mean the model is there I just wanted to know if it was possible to take from Alexandra and put on a guy. Major Fubar 0 Posted August 21, 2002 Nice work at getting this back ontopc desantnik. Â USHANKA It's my new favourite word! Â
-CCCP-Stalker 0 Posted August 21, 2002 Do you know from where did this word come from ? "Ushi" means ears in russian. And "ushanka" because it covers you ears

hmm you mean angelina, gubas secretary?? yes pilotkas would be great but nobody wears them in combat. they're quite common in the german Airforce, too. they re called "eselsfotze" here.

Quote

Do you know from where did this word come from ? USMC Sniper 0 Posted August 21, 2002 The only reason i want russians with ushankas is that they would fit better into winter maps than the normal russians. Oh and pilotkas would look good to. (say if your infiltrating a russian base i wouldn't expect soldiers to be fully combat ready.)
desantnik 0 Posted August 21, 2002 Exactly, actually pilotkas were quite common behind the lines and they were worn under the helmet by normal infantry, that is in the 40s, 50s, maybe 60s but later on I dont know. But is it possible to put Alexandras pilotka on a normal guy? that's my question. It would look good for a WW2 Russian pack. The reason quite a few soldiers wore them in the early 40's is that the Russian industry wasnt making the steel helmets in large quantities yet since the steel was used on tanks, guns, airplanes, and everything else but the soldiers head, so the guys wore their pilotkas in the summer and transfered the red star onto the ushanka in the winter. USMC Sniper 0 Posted August 21, 2002 That pic of the soldier- its from www.sovietarmy.com right?
USMC Sniper 0 Posted August 21, 2002 I was thinking that someone should make a soldier that looks like this: or like this: this trenchcoat could be done i think, by attaching the part below the belt to the soldier's legs so the bottom of the coat doesn't clip thru the legs.
desantnik 0 Posted August 21, 2002 so trenchcoats are a possibility in this game? I hope so. We need a mod makers take on this. And yeah those pics are from sovietarmy.com
shernt250 0 Posted August 22, 2002 I just had an idea, what if you could choose what rank the soldier is and it would show the insignia on the collar or the rank pach on the arm for enlisted men? Oh and if we could have different uniforms like instead of only having bdu's you could also have the standard dress uniforms for the army its the green slacks with a light green shirt, for the marines a nice pair of khakis, khakis pants and shirt with insignia nametag and ribbons. And my favorite the navy (cause im in NJROTC in the US) white shirt white pants white combonation cap and a pair of white dress shoes. Oh and for the army and marines either a combonation cover or a garrison cap. Thx ill make a poll press 1 if u like press 2 if u hate press 3 if u dont give a damn.lol Oh by the way sorry for putting this into your topic, but i thought u guys wouldn't mind cause were both talking about uniforms. Thx again guys and I hope I didn't offend you by adding this. Oh and I like the idea of the russian cap. maybye if this reaches some modmakers we can have that and the american counterpart. Thx again guys
