kklownboy 43 Posted August 4, 2013 "my info about my setup is disgraceful" Is this in the editor? In a Default single player mission, or campaign? Are we talking about MP, and if MP, is it a CTI, DOM, COOP, PVP? Do use custom settings ingame? VD is? Vidmem is? Do use the CCC for your vidcard? Is there a particular map? Have you brought up the "taskmanager" to see your RAM and CPU usage? Are you downloading porn when you play? Are you using any apps or progs to log or overclock? Any Mods loaded? Have you tried to "flush" while ingame? What version of ARMA2? What driver version of vidcard? What is your MB?, Does it slip down to 4x on the 16xPCI-e slot? Is your CPU down clocking do to heat? Have you ever opened your Bios? kklwn

orcinus 121 Posted August 4, 2013 (edited) Instead of rating about the game, use the time more usefully to post better details. What is the OS? Have you looked in the RPT file? Anything in the event viewer? I'm just finishing a build with an i7 3770K 8GB 1600 MHz Corsair Vengeance Red, Win 7 Pro 64, 180 GB Intel 520 SSD for OS & CO, Corsair 750 W PSU, Gigabyte 7950 3GB (stock 1000Mhz clock). With the settings that gave an E08 benchmark of ~54 FPS on my old i5-750 / HD 5850 system (same SSD, but XP Pro 32), I got 84 FPS with peaks of around 220 FPS on the new system. With everything maxed out but HDR (normal) & terrain (low) I still get ~48 FPS. The GPU is maxed out much of the time. I just played Flashpoint Podagorsk (8 groups/side, mostly infantry) for ~30 minutes with asr_ai, tpwcas, (Orc)COSLX & a couple of other small mods & it never went below 30 fps (1920 x 1172, windowed). It isn't the game per se something is off either in your config, your hardware, or the way your system is set up &/or running. orcinus 121 Posted August 5, 2013 (edited) Ah, good point about core parking. I set my system to high performance via Asus' AI suite tools when I play. @kyeperks: take a look here for explanation & solution(s). The Win 7 update is here Edited August 5, 2013 by Orcinus
