GPS Location

Hei,

Having trouble with my GPS. I've tried the @FA_GPS addon, but certain server do not allow the key its assigned to... or something?

My friends GPS are located on the side of the screen, as default. Mine is placed right in the of the screen. Its freaking annoying when flying chopper.

Anyone know any workaround?

You can't use custom addons on servers that don't have them, so there's no way to work around it. Only thing you can do is try to find a server that supports it.

But didnt this get fixed in a earlier patch? Why is the GPS placed on the right side on my friends computer but not on mine?

You might try resetting your profile. I noticed the GPS move also, and the addition of the "Stance Indicator" required some people to reset their profiles. I'm assuming this all has to do with the same UI tweaking. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, and I hope this helps.

No thats not what was fixed.Only IF the server allows it/Mod can you use it.

Because your not running the Mod.

maybe your shortcut isnt correct?

Soon to be a non-problem as customisable HUD positioning like that already available in Take On Helicopters is coming in the Beta and it is a treat. ;)

Find your "ProfileName.vars.Arma3AlphaProfile" file and delete it, this resets the GPS position to the new lower right corner.

No idea what else is stored is this file (I think your Virtual Ammobox System (VAS) loadouts) so you might want to keep a backup.
