max power 21 Posted March 21, 2013 You can disable them in your expansions menu.
tom3kb 15 Posted March 21, 2013 If you use shortcut to launch arma with mods, delete them from line -mod=@mod1;@mod2 in shortcut properties. If you want to "uninstall" them from hdd, find in arma 2 folders with names @stmovement, @cba etc and delete them from hdd.

tet5uo 4 Posted March 21, 2013 How would you even install a mod without knowing how to uninstall it? Oh, I guess maybe six.
Guest Posted March 23, 2013 (edited) How would you even install a mod without knowing how to uninstall it? Oh, I guess maybe six. Yea! But it seems i can't uninstall them through SIX either (bug maybe?). How do i manually remove them? edit: Ok i found them in C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\ArmA 2 folder. But it seems withSIX doesn't list CBA and stmovement for some reason. Not in the mods section in the program. So i have to manually delete them? max power 21 Posted March 23, 2013 I want to uninstall them completely. Well, okay, but disabling them has the same effect on the game itself as getting rid of them completely. If you are using windows vista or windows 7 you can simply search for folders or files you know are in cba or stmovement. a folder called addons, for instance, will be in both. So you mean by disabling them in game it delete the "mod" folders?
max power 21 Posted March 23, 2013 Nope, I mean the game doesn't load them anymore as of they aren't there. The ones you have, CBA and Smookie's animation mod can't be very large, so I was reasoning that you wanted to not play with them anymore when you said 'uninstall' initially. But i don't want to disable them i want to completely delete them. Like i installed ARMA 2 for the very first time. A clean install.
max power 21 Posted March 23, 2013 Then delete them as tom suggested. You can't find them, search them like I suggested earlier.

ProfTournesol 956 Posted March 23, 2013 The mods are located in the C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\ArmA 2 folder. So i would manually delete them there? As they aren't located in the game install folder, there is no reason to delete them to have "a clean ArmA installation".
OrLoK 20 Posted March 23, 2013 Hello there The point everyone is trying to make is that you don't need to delete them. Disabling them in the advised manner has the same effect. Can we ask why you feel you need a "clean install"? Having the mods disabled will not interfere with joining any servers for example. Rgds LoK

I meant 'if you can't find them', but I think you got my meaning. It is safe to delete them. They aren't in any registry afaik.
