Default speed = Walk. Please somebody make a clientsidemod for this.

Is such a mod possible?

I just want the ingame movement to be Walk instead of Run by default. On-, and offline.

I'm only just beginning to understand modding, plan to learn more about it this year, this seems like a good entry -first mod- to study.

If you're asking what I think you're asking, then it's already in the game. There are controls for walk/run toggle.

I use these controls:

Turbo = W+S (hold down W, then S)

(Just run normal, then hold down S too to sprint)

Walk/Run temporary = Left Shift (hold down shift)

Walk/Rund Toggle = 2x Left Shift (double tap shift)

(switches between Walk/Run as default move mode)

:) Yes i know.

I mean when you start a game, either on- or offline, and spawn in the world for the first time, your default movement speed is Run. I'd really like to change it to Walk.

Hadn't seen the request thread, sorry. To be honest i hadn't even looked at the stickies.

Throughout the years, visiting many forums, it's sort of become a 2nd nature to quickly scroll past the -sometimes way too many- stickies.

I've always wanted this. I've been accustomed to double tapping shift everytime I spawn because I'd rather walk than run initially.
