Took these mid last year. I can't wait to tour these places in game. Especially the mosquito filled hotel room I stayed in (it'll be fun to come back to it, only this time with a mk19 pointed at it)

Lemnos is a very dry island. I have some photos of the plants and stuff. Will upload more pictures later today.

Must be the soil, or not enough landmass/elevation to generate its own microclimate. :/

Or this could be the case - http://www.sailingissues.com/windroses.html Do storms happen in the Aegean? The southern Med is more balanced with its rainfall.

I'm hoping to see Altis with something like the following,

Perhaps, with 25-40% less vegetation, but definitely not Takistani levels.

Oh, I dunno - perhaps they didn't want a second Takistan, and we'll be seeing more vegetation on Altis than the RL Limnos?

We'll see.
