ARMA 2 Problems with 2 people playing at once

I have had ARMA 2 for around 6 months and my brother also purchased the game during christmas, we tried playing on the same ARMA 2 and Dayz server but when one person has joined it will not allow the other person to join that server or any other server and if I try to join second it kicks me from the game that I tried to join. Any help would be appreciated :)

How do I change the key that I am using? We both own legitimate copies we bought from steam.

Sure you can, it may or may not be easy but you most definetly can.

Possibly an issue with two people trying to connect to a server using the same IP address?

And the same ip shouldnt affect it, got several users on our servers who play from the same ip. :)

That would require that you get the reference to mchammer (or whatshisface) and that the stop/no/ban sign is understood properly.

I think one of my friends and his girlfriend had same or similar problem while playing DayZ (both using legit copies, and ofc not the same key).

If i am not mistaken, he found a router was responsible for those problems.

Try a different router, if you can.

I'll try to get more info from that friend of mine, to confirm or clarify this rummor :)
