It seems I can't get it to work on Vanilla, but I can definitely do it to Vilas' FALs. I just want to toy around with HE and AP types before I go any further. Sakai 1 Posted January 30, 2013 Okay keep us updated on this masterpiece :) So which FN FAL's of vilas's will it work? both or one? because if on both I will get the FN FAL Para from vilas's mlod's and add it to the paratrooper's to have this as well, they will need it! yevgeni89 163 Posted January 30, 2013 I liked putting the mortar on the xm back in the day, instantly turned it into an m16 haha, but i remember wiping out squads or a half a squad with one of those things, are you going to imitate the same area of effect and kill radius or 203 style 35 area of effect which in reality is a 5 meter kill radius. It's a bigger kill radius then a 40MM but not too much. The The AP type is less then a RPG-18/AT-4 so it won't be taking out tanks but will do a good bit of damage against light armour. FAC weaponry is growing! thanks to R0adki for making me a FN FAL M203, now the Capraian's will have grenades and rocket's to fire from rifles xD Still needs a small fix in config.cpp: Might not look nice, thats because FN FAL was not suppose to have m203 xd Soon a FN FAL for Officer's and Squad Leader's - FN FAL with Aimpoint :) Edited January 31, 2013 by Sakai Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
slatts 1978 Posted January 31, 2013 Just a suggestion, if you have a 203 then maybe the rifle grenades should be a reservist/militia weapon. No no I have a better idea, there will be a class called "Rocketeer" aka guy who is specialized in those stuff for Marines and Paratroopers :) M203 will be for Grenadier's and Squad Leader's only. So the weaponry the Paratrooper's and old marines will have: FN FAL-B FN FAL Para FN FAL-B M203 FN FAL Para M203 FN FAL-B Aimpoint FN FAL Para Aimpoint FN FAL-B Marksman ((Hopefuly)) FN FAL Para Marksman ((Hopefuly)) And so as addition when Slatts will finish his rocket masterpiece there will be new class for Old Marines and Paratrooper's called "Rocketeer" aka a soldier who is a specialist in those "grenade rockets" And that will close the Capraian weaponry. yevgeni89 163 Posted January 31, 2013 Okay so I released a super basic mission it's called Alamo pretty self explanatory, waves of Taki's attaking your Marine Squad along with a FAC militia squad and CDF squad, you have to defend the city that your unit had just completed fortifying theres ammo hidden in one of the compounds as well as some things to tip the battle in your favor. This Requires ACE version of FAC, im not using anything else though so it should work just fine for everyone, this is my first mission attempt so if it sucks, no shitting on my face, it was an attempt. Kaboom Once again big thank you to slatts! ATM Its only on Para model but hopefully he will do one for FN FAL-B So yap that will be included in the last update of FAC.
