f2k sel 164 Posted January 3, 2013 I thought I'd take a look at the BIS FSM editor to see what it's all about. The problem is same either the editor doesn't work or I can't work out how to save anything. I loaded a .bifsm file into the editor and that's fine. Bur how the hell do I save it? Save As brings up a window name of FSM and blank line, I enter the name of the file which brings up another window select file to save FSM I enter a name there and it then tells me there is No complile config specified. I don't know what it's going on about and can't find any tutorials that cover this.
Deadfast 43 Posted January 3, 2013 You can set the path to the compile config in FsmAttributes > Compile config. You will most likely want to set it to {BI Tools Dir}\FSM Editor Personal Edition\scriptedFSM.cfg
f2k sel 164 Posted January 3, 2013 (edited) Thanks but I just don't get what it's doing. I did as you said but when I go to save a file it asks me what file I want to save, the only file I can select is the one I already loaded I don't want to overwrite it. That file is a .bifsm. I'm trying to wrie an .fsm file All I want to do is save a file I made a simple change to, I just can't see anyway to save a file as FSM. Deadfast 43 Posted January 3, 2013 Save as type drop-down allows you to choose between .bifsm and .fsm.
