Not that I know of in a technical aspect, obviously you could just place down similar waypoints, but I know that's too easy of a solution. You can also just put them in a group and not have them follow a certain formation, which would be easiest

Not technically. Like Horner said, you could place similar waypoints or place them into the same group. Which would be the easiest. Or maybe you could use a while loop and have the second unit go to the position of the first unit or waypoint... why not just use 2 seperate wps though?

The reason i ask this , is because i want to have 2 groups follow the same waypoints but maintain formation since group units always follow the leader , so 2 groups -> 2 leaders -> 2 formations but on one waypoint chain , too bad if it isnt possible :( , i will try copywaypoints and see what i can do , thanks for the replies :)

oh ... i forgot to mention that the waypoint chain is very long so it could save some time rather than making an other ...

1. Highlight Units/Waypoints

2. Ctrl+C

3. Ctrl+V

And you have another unit/group with the same exact waypoints :D

LOL that's the reason? "it'll take along time"... I know what you mean, but maybe you should just sit down for 30minutes and plot the waypoints. Or if you're inclined, look into copyWaypoints command

note: hold shift and click on the group that laready has the waypoints. This will highlight that group and all waypoints. Copy and paste the group + waypoints. Rename and/or setup the copy and pasted troops how you like...
