Arma 2 OA Profile Path?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to find where the arma 2 OA profiles are stored. I've found the Arma 2 standard file location, but it did not have what I needed. I cannot find the OA path.

I keep getting error messages about arma trying to launch using a file that isn't there (Accidently enabled something with ACE that broke it.) I want to somehow force the beta patch to launch using a blank profile with no mods enabled or something like that, so that I can enable mods individually.

Right now, if I launch using the beta patch (From the OA directory) it will attempt to boot up and will crash right after the checkbox window with an error about the missing file. I've tried reinstalling ACE and CBA which according to available information are the problems. Sixupdate and Sixlauncher have been used to no avail at checking and fixing the files.

Would there be any way to CREATE a profile from which the beta patch would launch? That would be optimal as I feel it would correct the issue.

In your ‘Documents’ folder there is ‘Arma 2 Other Profiles’ your profiles should be in there, may be best to delete your old profile and make a new one. Also in your documents is ‘Arma 2’ folder, in there are the a2 and oa configs, you may be best deleting the old config for oa and re-start, it will automatically put a new config in there, only if that’s what you need to do mind.. The new profile will be made in-game.

I start from a beta, from your main; Program Files/Bohemia Interactive/Arma 2/Expansion/Beta/arma2oa, just make a shortcut to your desktop and you can fire up from there, then activate mods within the game ‘Expansions’ menu and save to your new profile..

Not sure if that helps..
