Alpha71480 1 Posted October 28, 2012 The most frustrating thing. I played ARMA years back . Just now got back into the ARMA 2 an expacs. SOOOO thats where my problem starts. I played thru the training stuff to get the controls tuned an keys mapped, as well as get the hang of it again, It isnt really a game that you can learn an master in one day . SO! I play the first mission , blow it on losing the satchel charges for some reason the first 4 times I started. Finally I get thru that particular part an get to the choice, proceed on or give up an extract. I realize now that it dont matter if you want to or not you have to proceed on to laze the targets... first time I nailed it ! all 3 in a row no sweat! ... so not playing the mission or game ever I stay on the hill top an proceed to shoot 1 or 2 guys at a time for the tune of almost 4 hours... So it will not check the task an let me finish the mission! I played it again an again an still nothing. it is just stuck there. every time I run more than couple of hundred meters away from the hill top it says regroup... nothing else. the Laze targets task is still open ... Can I just bypass it? how do I fix this, I tried just about every route an still nothing. Please help me ! I am so used to being able to mouse over the thread an see what it is about that I forget. new to this community so thank you for the constructive crit bro. I will try to be a lil more descriptive. I was just frustrated I spent the last week an half on the same mission. an to the other guy, I will restart again from the beginning an see if I can finally pass it. Ya cuz even reverting back to earlier saves no matter now far back dont work. Just wanted to EDIT in that lil FYI. I seen it was a common problem, but no real solid answers.
