I don't know about you, But when I build a model I try to find the most detailed information I possibly can. Even if I wanted to do a sci-fi model, I would still have a concept drawing to use as a template. The model isn't actually bad, but its just nothing like an EH101. if was going to take any amount of time on a project, I would at least make sure I was actually building the model I intended. Eviscerator 0 Posted July 4, 2002 er...youve lost me casey...my guys models? er... and im jumpingon his ass because he keeps doing this and unfortunately hes one of the guys that got o2 by most likely showing models hes downloaded, so while hes got o2 and just downloading stuff, a really talented addon maker is left with nothing to do as he cant compete with the guys with it, people that just download the models dont deserve the tools Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

GFX707 0 Posted July 5, 2002 You don't HAVE to be able to model to make stuff for OFP. I showed them a page of bunkers I had made from concrete walls and stuff for OFP and now I can import my own models into the game. I suck at modelling but I only try to make easy things and I don't think anyone has ever complained about my models because I don't try to make anything as complicated as choppers or tanks. I got screamed at too for importing DoD models into OFP but at least I never claimed I made them. Not that I am taking some sort of moral high ground here but if you download a model and want to import it into OFP then at least say you didn't make it in the first place Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Scorpio 0 Posted July 5, 2002 Well i have to agree with gfx707, you do not have to make the model yourself for importing into ofp. But you should give credits, which i didnt do, but ill try to do in future. ( i didnt actually post here "This is MY model") But i have my own-made models, but unfortunately i turn towards too much proffesionalism that i make the models very high poly.
