Eh101 merlin

Ive currently got an EH101 Merlin ingame.

But im not happy with the textures and interior. Currently, this version is for the G8 Mod, but i want something more standard (possibly the grey USMC colour)

Can somebody be kind enough to provide me with textures for it? Thanks in advance.

The Merlin isn't used by the USMC. It's Anglo-Italian.

Im working on it, ive got a lot more pics of it, but ill post them later on my site. Ive got an inside model of it, but im not happy with the textures for the deck. It works fine at the moment.

Looking great scorpio! One thing though. Does it have only 2 sets of landing gear or 3? Cause from those pics it looks like it only has 2. If you ask me i would think a strong wind (in real life) would blow that thing on its side....

there is a bit of a dif... but that is just adding tubes and mirrioring the tail ... it all looks to much the same =:/

wheels are diff bythe looks .....

the wheels on the model in the link wont work in o2(one sided) thats why he had to change them, and he was sending me the .p3d so i could see but mysteriously had to go before it arrived :/

well it will be intresting to see what happens .... cozz i have had ppl rip my work from CS weapon replacements ... and many rip parts of my gun and claim it as there own .... till i contact the person or if it is a mod for HL or anything else i had had to e-mail the leader to check up on the models ... .sure enough the modeller would vanish into thin air =:/

it is lame and the person that does it is not only makeing themselfs look like a usles ass but also is anoying the creator =:/

oh well i hope this can be straightened out ... and it needs tobe since this has already happened to scorp on other models he has shown =:/

Ah well, just add another mark to Scorpio's bad record. He already faked the btr, and I think something else.

This makes me wonder if his F-16 is really original.

so he finally sent me the .p3d...and they are exactly the same model all hes done is put the downloaded one up to blueprints and moved the vertices slightly, anyone thats even opened a 3d modelling application would know that the changes he's made are really easy to do...

anyway, some comparison shots...

if you look at the lines that make up the model they are exactly the same, only on scorpios model they have been squashed as hes tried to fit the model to blueprints, hes used blackhawk rotors and wheels, and added engines underneath and thats about it...

I got news for you, it isn't even an EH101, or if it is its a pretty poor model. The wheel housing/floats are too long, and the engine housings should be angular. the horizontal rear fin is in the wrong place, and the tail rotor is on the wrong side. I don't know what that original model is, but it's nothing like a Merlin. Almost like an HH3, but not quite.

Ok then. Not that i mind a lot, but if you are gonna use someone's models you should give credit to the original autor. If the guy has posted his model on a website i guess he would let you import his model to OFP.

Yeah ive been to RAF Benson too, i do air experience flights there and ive seen a lot of the melins they have there and I have to admit that model only looks lossely like one whosever it is!

sgt casey he downloaded this model and has been passing it off as his own hard work, he didnt even for one second mention it wasnt his, i even asked whether he downloaded it on msn messenger and he actually went into a rant at me that i was wrong and he had spent hours and hours modelling it, look on the second page for the comparison screenshots...so none of these people should 'stfu'
