MikeJones 1 Posted October 17, 2012 Hey I was wondering if I install ACR Lite to play a mod that requires it, will all of my textures and sounds be downgraded, or will only the textures required by ACR Lite be downgraded? I can join the mod's server fine (Wasteland), but I get kicked from the game whenever any vehicle from ACR is required. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

But... it's an interesting question as they replaced some Arma2 OA base units in the ACR DLC. Logically you would imagine that the lite patch just adds the lite textures for the ACR units you don't own but leaves the default Operation Arrowhead units as they are. But I can't say for 100% sure, curious to know though. Additionally, BIS really need to sort a way to get the lite content to everyone by including it with a patch so that everyone has it. This is the only way will see more severs running the ACR content online. They took a round about way to try to not do thing we all dread about DLC, which is diving a community, but in spite of this extra lite patch availability we do have a division now. No, I rather they don't do that at all, don't want none of those low res turd in my game. I already supported BIS more than enough by buying multiple copies for friends and even Reinforcements separately even though I already own OA. ACR is just a plain aweful DLC with minimal efforts from the developers, glad to see they are separate and not forced upon us like PMC and BAF.
