domestar 1 Posted October 10, 2012 I got ARMA2(steam version) and want operation arrowhead aswell, but in combined mode. Ive always been an active user of all the wonderful mods/addons of ARMA2, but ive found it do be quite hard to know what works with what. That beeing said, if i want the best/easiest setup to play those games with addons/mods without to many workarounds, is the best route to buy combined operations package (which basically means i get arma2 once more), or buy only OA? Q2: Will all my ARMA2 mods work with combined operations? Thanks!

Yes, all ARMA2 Addons/Mods/Missions are working just fine in CO. :)
dale 11 Posted October 11, 2012 If i were you I would just buy the Combined arms package, I had multiple problems in the past going the Arma 2 disc OA steam way, so I just gave in and bought A2 on steam and now everything works fine and its never my end which breaks :p Honestly though I really would go down that route if you've got the spare cash as it reduces the hassle 100 fold, so many of our clan members get issues whenever they need to do an entire re-install or if they have recently updated (no offence BI its definitely steams fault). Also the way you work around the steam "offline mode" is just use Arma 2 Launcher. And now youve got a disc free you can send it to someone who you think might play Arma 2 and hopefully get them hooked too :)
domestar 1 Posted October 11, 2012 Thanks for the replies. I did a search and found the links you posted me Severloh, but i still found it lil confusing. Now that i have done some extended research and trial and error it worked out with an launcher. Maybe that had been the best way to go Dale :)
