theavonlady 2 Posted June 27, 2002 With Resistance coming out any day (or week ) now, there's going to be a lot of info that I'll have to add to The FAQ. FAQ item contributions from the player community will be greatly appreciated. New addons lists, new commands, action, options, tweaks, info about the new campaign and missions, bugs , workarounds - all information is welcome! I don't promise to put everything in that's submitted to me but I'll do the best I can. In the meantime, I've started to compile some Resistance FAQ items. You can see them by click on OFP: RESISTANCE on the left hand menu at The FAQ. As always, please do NOT contact me by ICQ or forum private messaging. Please email me: theavonlady@theavonlady.org . EBass 0 Posted June 29, 2002 I got it yesterday and love it, when does Isreal get it released? (By the way avon does Isreal get any cut cos of the West bank violence?)
ale2999 0 Posted June 29, 2002 Avon I have a P3 1.1 gz, 512 of ram, geforce 4mx 420, on windows XP pro. When u install the game, the settings it gives u are of slideshow. U have to tweak at maximum to get a satisfactory compromise between quality and frame rate. I play at 1024x768x32 and with view distance of 1100 and high quality for ground setting. it is acceptable like that 99 % of times. Dont recomend to use very high quality for ground settings as the games turns into a slide show. I think that If I tweak more I could achieve better framerates. theavonlady 2 Posted July 5, 2002 Thanks, ale2999. I'n going to have much less time to spend at the forum over the next 6-8 weeks. So. 1. Don't worry if you don't see any posts from me for a week or two. 2. Please email me new items for The FAQ. Even pointing out a relevant thread's URL is helpful. Everyone have an enjoyable summer - and behave!
Guest Posted July 5, 2002 Are you really saying that it will take you 6-8 weeks to complete the Resistance campaign??

Jamesia 0 Posted July 20, 2002 oooooooooooooo Avon, I have a contribution to your FAQ..... Question: What happens if I fall into the water? Answer: You drown. Is that a useful contribution to your FAQ or what? Also, Avon, is that your voice on the "ding dong Avon calling" thing, or some highly paid voice actress? the first time I heard that I thought I was being haunted because I ran to the door and no one was there. I leave my shotgun by the door every night now..............

ale2999 0 Posted July 21, 2002 every1 knows that the mp maps dont save on client pc. But I found out that the maps are saved in the tmp folder inside the flashpoint directory. This is such a better way because if u like the map you are forced to alt tab tduring game and save in the mpmission folder so u dont keep crappy mp missions
