Tankbuster 1533 Posted August 25, 2012 Mmm, this has been asked before may times, but if search let you down, I'll answer part of your question. For Evolution, I don't know, not played it in many years, but in Domination, you can sort of save your progress in the missions. If it's your server you are playing on, you need to make it 'persistent'. This means the server won't close the mission when there's no players there. It works reasonably well. Your score will be saved, as well as what side and main mission you are on, plus any vehicles you've won. Your loadout won't be saved, nor any markers you've put on the map. If you are talking about 'saving' the mission if you are playing it on your own machine, then you simply can forget it. It just doesn't work. There are dozens, if not hundreds of scripts running behind the scene in this mission and you just can not save them and expect them to restart properly when you load the mission. Tankbuster 1533 Posted August 25, 2012 I think the problem is that you can't tell us exactly what you want in terms that we can understand. As I said earlier, if you run the server 'persistent' then the mission will not restart. You can leave it and go back to it at any time and it will be where you left it. mike187 13 Posted August 25, 2012 what do you mean by server is down? what you can do with any mission is if you own the server... just put the server to hibernate! that way everything is saved. when you wake up the server again... you can join where you left it. works fine with linux server not testen on any windows... as i don't wanna pay MS anything. :D edit: oh and markers on the map work with some beta versions... not sure which tho.
