The Hunter Gameplay

Hello, I'm a big fan of ArmA, but I'd never posted anything here.

So, if there is something that I wish on ArmA III is that you could use a hunter knowledge in order to find patrols or find out that someone has already passed there (like trampled grass ). Things that only with this hunter knowledge you would find out. That would make travels much more fun(sometimes you have to cross the entire map by car and it takes 10 minutes or more just driving the same road with no random details) - that would be fun on multiplayer too

well this is my ideia for the game; sorry my bad "inglish"

Yeah, tracking of people, cars, trucks, wet sand; make your player and the AI interact with the environment

Do you mean like footprints? or trails?

Yeah, that could be awesome but there's a thread about wishes and ideas, post there.

There are already footprints in the game, but they disappear quickly. I imagine it wouldn't be hard to designate a number of units to leave permanent footprints, although this could cause performance problems.

Maybe have something like... 1 footstep stays for 5 minutes per 10 meter radius or so?

Maybe footprints which will stay on place some time and changing opacity/fill from 100% to 0% for knowledge, how long before someone pass.
