Arma 2 Updating issue.

Greetings... Recent i have just bought Arma 2 operation arrowhead and i thought i would go ahead and register my CD key online using the automatic key program, So i did that posted my key and it was all successful and i thought great ill go ahead and update the game to the latest patch and this is where i seem to have encounter my problem.. i downloaded the updates from the Arma 2 website there no problem updated the game to as far as 1.11 and this is where it stops, every time i download the latest one. ARMA2OACORFT_Update_162 and when i run the installed it asked if i wish to install the patch i go ahead and click yes and i get WRONG CD KEY (apologies for caps but that's what it says) so i would love to update the game fully so i can then install the Dayz Mod, (no offense but i bought this game today so i could play Dayz) and now i feel slightly cheated. Ive wrote a ticket to the support but as of yet no reply :(

i was wondering if anyone knew a reason for this and or a fix would be great full.

i can and will update with any more information that may be required as i would love to play this game.

i forgot to mention its non steam issue... i have the original Arma 2 disk in the drive and the OA i digital downloaded.

Update 1.11 is for Arma 2 only, update 1.60 which I would go for, rather than the latest 1.62 still working through its beta stage is for arrowhead/CO. Both games would have a key i.e. your arma 2 and your arrowhead/CO etc. Sounds to me as though its reading the arma 2 key fine for arma 2 (update 1.11) but then it would need the arrowhead/CO key for the next part of the update. Why not go into the Arma 2 website and just update arrowhead/CO (1.60) it will auto update your arma 2 along with it, or lets say that’s what it does for me everytime I update. Then if you want to go for 1.62 it will hopefully be easier to do from the 1.60 patch..

Thanks for your reply but its every patch i try to update from now on any patch that i try to update Operation arrowhead for i get Wrong CD key, Ive downloaded pretty much every patch on the arma 2 website so i could try them but it just will not patch any further.
