mrwhitby 1 Posted July 31, 2012 Since buying the Czech DLC and installing it and not being able to actually play it cos it dosent launch with arma CO! and im getting drops in FPS every other second! And the new maps i get 21 FPS?! I get 100+ FPS on other maps! Im well over specs with an i7 2600k and 6970 so theres no reason for me to get this bad fps apart from a poor DLC! What you have to do is run the game from your install folder as the first time I ran it from my quick launch icon, it did not work. (CTD'd on launch). (And I am running on sub-min specs too) I used search and looked at other posts. The way Arma works is that you will often find that MP missions perform better - especially something like Domination which has many performance coding tweaks. When playing online, a lot of the grunt work is done by the server and also stuff like view distance and clutter detail are curbed to improve performance. You have to compare like with like.
