EBass 0 Posted June 20, 2002 Is it still supposed to say Im on 1.46, I did the whole proccess of uninstalling and redownloading every file again (My mate screwed me red Hammer up) damn long on 56k but no matter how 1.55 and 1.60 says install successful im still on 1.46 or at least thats what it says. Bigs974 0 Posted June 21, 2002 Ya this is confusing. OK when you run the 1.6 Patch it creates a BRAND NEW exe in you're OFP Folder. If you Run OperationFlashpoint.exe this is the 1.46 Program. You need to open your OFP Folder and find the file called OFPMPTEST.exe (The 1.6 patch makes this). Make a Shortcut to this program and put it on ur desk or wherever. Now when u run this Program you will see V1.6 on your screen and only Multiplayer options will be visible. OK So now you have 2 X OFP exe's. The Old Shortcut to run V1.46 = OperationFlashpoint.exe and the V1.60 Test Prog = OFPMPTEST.exe Hope this helps. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Placebo 29 Posted June 21, 2002 Oh yeah I meant to add why I don't have Opf installed, I messed up my install of XP a couple of weeks back and haven't gotten around to reinstalling Opf again, mainly for two reasons, 1 I've got loads of college work to do and the world cup is destracting enough, and 2 the 1.60 mptest beta doesn't work with Kyro2's Worse still is that my PSU died this morning so I had to buy a new one, thus meaning I can't afford Opf:R next week Yes yes I can feel the pity Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Booky 0 Posted June 22, 2002 Ok let me get this streight. There is a 1.60 beta patch out? So that must mean that someday we may eventually get another patch for OFP? If so, what such a big jump in version number, 1.46 to 1.6, I mean why not just make it 1.47? Just curious since i thought they stopped working on OFP for the resistance add-on.
